How to Apply
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship,
- applicants must have spent at least one academic session at the University
- CGPA should not be less than 4.0 (Priority will be given to those with higher points)
- applicants must have been of exemplary behaviour in the University
- applicants must show that they have financial challenges to complete their studies
- contributions to the life of the University through leadership positions will be an added advantage
Interested students are to submit the following documents to the Office of the Director of Scholarships
- A page of self-introduction following the specified outline
- A printed copy of the applicant’s most recent Senate Approved Results
- Letters of recommendation from the Dean of Students’ Affairs and Head of Department

- The University reserves the full right to determine who is offered the scholarship
- The University also determines the worth of each scholarship
- The University may withdraw the award if the beneficiary detracts from the set conditions or if you found wanting on disciplinary grounds
- Our scholarships are highly competitive. Thus, submission of a complete application is not a guarantee for consideration.
- A letter of recommendation from the Dean of Students’ Affairs is not a guarantee either.
