ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Economics runs with the philosophy of the University which is based on the principle that human and social developments are rooted in the development of the mind depends on research and teaching that both critically uses the intellectual heritage of the past, and is also abreast with the cutting edge of current research. The development of morals both utilizes religious and African traditional values, and addresses the new personal and social problems that our parents never had to face.

The mission of the Department of Economics is to produce graduates of economics whose skills and initiatives are at par to the world's highest ranking universities graduates.
